Léa Masson, theorbo

While studying guitar at the Conservatoire Supérieur in Paris, Léa discovered the world of early instruments and developed a particular passion for the theorbo.

In 2013 she was awarded her Performer's degree (class of O. Chassain), followed by a Masters in chamber music (M. Moraguès) and state teaching diplomas.

Seeking to consolidate her early music experience, she then spent two years completing a lute and theorbo option with Eric Bellocq and a specialization in basso continuo with Frédéric Michel.

She now regularly performs as a soloist ( Nocturnes du Louvre ) and with the ensemble Duo 18 .
