Francesco Olivero, théorbo
Francesco Olivero studied classical guitar at the Conservatory of Cuneo, Italy and then at the Maastricht Conservatory, Netherlands where he obtained his master's degree.
In 2016, he received a scholarship from the prestigious association "De Sono" in Turin, which financed his musical and artistic activities. Francesco has performed in concerts at various music festivals in Italy, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, France and Georgia. He has worked under the direction of conductors such as F. Sardelli (Modo Antiquo), M. Toni (Accademia la Chimera), C. Chiavazza (Ensemble Sisismondo), L. Claesen (Collegium Ensemble), Nicolas Achten (Regenship) and Thomas Beate (Les transports public) among others.
In 2018, he completed his studies in early music through a master's degree in theorbo at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under Nicolas Achten.
Francesco is a founding member of the Bernini Ensemble and the Didone Abbandonata Ensemble, of which he is also artistic director. He records for labels Italian Way Music and Sonamusica.
