The Passengers, baroque ensemble

Pablo De Vega, harpsichord

Pablo, born in Bogotá, begun music with the trumpet. He played during his younger years in several "bandas", big bands, orchestras and smaller jazz groups. When he was 18 years old he discovered the joy of choral singing and then fell in love with the harpsichord and all the questions we've inherited from early music performance practice.

He came to France in 2013 in order to study the harpsichord and all that hovers around it with Sébastien Wonder and Marie-Anne Pottier at the regional conservatory of Tours. He was then able to taste the sweetness of playing baroque music with friends in intimacy, and accompanying singers in all sorts of situations. After 3 years of apprenticeship he moves on to the national conservatory in Lyon.

Today he lives and studies in Lyon. He continues to learn the harpsichord, thorough bass and improvisation with Dirk Börner, and he seeks advice from many a musician that come across his way. In Lyon, his musical surrounding allows him to complete his musical life with a lot of singing.
