Maëlle Javelot began her musical training at the age of 6, starting as a violinist before moving to vocal studies at 16. After graduating in musicology from Tours University she was accepted onto Robert Expert’s class at the Conservatorium of Bobigny. She is currently studying in Paris with Florence Guignolet.

Her strong interest in ensemble repertoire has led her to perform with various choirs, such as Les Folies du Temps, Haglaé – Le Capriccio Français, La Maîtrise de Radio France and the National Youth Choir. Over the course of her studies, she has had the opportunity to play Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro and Véronique in Docteur Miracle by Bizet/Lecoq.

In addition to her vocal training, Maëlle is studying Renaissance and Baroque repertoire with Julie Hassler and Noémie Rime. Maëlle recently joined the theatre group Jusqu’au Souffle and is currently working on their next pluridisciplinary production.
